In November 2019,the ASEAN Defense Ministers'Meeting Plus Counter-Terrorism Expert Group Joint Live-fire Exercise was held at the comprehensive training ground of a brigade of the Southern Theater Command Army.This joint live-fire exercise of the Counter-Terrorism Expert Group is the largest land-based counter-terrorism exercise held since the establishment of the expert group in 2011.A total of 10 aircraft,more than 60 armored equipment,and more than 800 officers and soldiers from 10 ASEAN member states and 8 dialogue partner countries,as well as the ASEAN Military Medical Center participated in the exercise.There are many participating countries,the force organization is flexible,and the exercise content is substantial.The purpose is to enhance mutual exchanges and cooperation among member states,dialogue countries and military medical centers,and enhance the ability to respond to regional terrorist threats.
